Terms of Service

These Terms cover the EmoteStats bot, website, dashboards, and public API.

1. Using EmoteStats

EmoteStats is a free Discord bot, website, and public API for custom emoji statistics. By installing or using it after being presented with these Terms, you agree to them. You must meet Discord's minimum age requirements and follow its rules. If you cannot accept these Terms yourself, a parent or guardian must do so for you.

EmoteStats is independent of Discord. See Discord's Terms, Community Guidelines, and our Privacy Policy.

2. Permissions and public statistics

Only add or configure the bot where you have permission. Let server members know about its collection and public dashboards, and limit its channel access as needed. Installing the bot does not provide consent on behalf of every member.

Server dashboards and aggregate analytics are public. Anyone with the server ID can view them. Activity from restricted channels can contribute to public totals if the bot can access those channels. Public results do not show message text or individual member histories.

3. Acceptable use

Do not use EmoteStats to harass people, expose private information, or break the law or Discord's rules. Do not bypass permissions or rate limits, exploit vulnerabilities, or disrupt the service. We may restrict access to address abuse, security risks, or violations of these Terms.

4. Content and ownership

You keep your rights to your content and emoji artwork. You allow EmoteStats to process and display the material needed to provide its features, to the extent you have those rights. EmoteStats's software and branding remain subject to their applicable ownership and licenses. You may share public charts and statistics while respecting others' rights.

5. Availability and stopping use

Statistics depend on the events Discord delivers and may have gaps, delays, or errors. We may change or discontinue the service.

You may stop using EmoteStats at any time. Removing the bot stops future collection when the change takes effect, but does not automatically delete retained history. See our Privacy Policy for deletion requests.

EmoteStats is provided "as is" and "as available." To the extent permitted by law, we do not provide warranties or accept liability for indirect or consequential losses from using it. Nothing in these Terms limits rights or liability that cannot legally be limited.

6. Changes and contact

We will update these Terms when needed and announce material changes through the website or relevant service channels before they take effect where practicable.
