Data Retention
Public dashboards
- Guild dashboards are public through their public links.
- Public dashboard queries expose at most 90 days of analytics history.
What the counts mean
- Distinct-message counts count one message once for each custom emoji it contains.
- Literal-occurrence counts count every literal appearance of a custom emoji in a message.
- Stickers count once per sticker per message.
- Deleting a Discord message keeps its recorded emote and sticker usage counted. Privacy requests and retention apply separately.
- Human activity is included by default. Bot and ordinary-webhook activity is opt-in.
Stored analytics data
- Non-premium analytics history is retained for the trailing one UTC calendar year.
- Analytics do not store raw message content.
- New observations store the author’s Discord user ID and a pseudonymous message reference. Older user records may have only a server-scoped pseudonymous reference. Pseudonymous data is not anonymous.
Coverage limits
Coverage may be incomplete when Discord is unavailable, permissions or configured intents limit what the service receives, or EmoteStats experiences a service outage. Historical distinct-user reach is incomplete while older pseudonymous users remain unlinked. A linked-user count is not a complete historical reach total.
